Our firm is proud to partner with Harvest Community Church in Lafayette, Louisiana, to transform a 12,500-square-foot former Piggly Wiggly into a dynamic, modern worship and community facility. Located directly across from the church’s existing sanctuary, which has been outgrown due to the congregation’s growth, this ambitious renovation breathes new life into a dilapidated structure with a contemporary architectural facelift.
The reimagined design creates an inviting and functional space for 300–350 worshippers, blending aesthetic innovation with purposeful community-focused features. The new facility includes a vibrant sanctuary, a dedicated nursery, classrooms for children through 5th grade, a welcoming café for fellowship, modern administrative offices, and a versatile multipurpose room.
A standout element is the dedicated youth sports ministry wing, featuring a full-size basketball court with bleachers, a concession area, and a workout room, fostering both spiritual and physical engagement for the church’s youth. The existing sanctuary across the street will be repurposed for youth services on Sundays, ensuring the church’s growing congregation has ample space to connect and thrive.
